Which are the best hair straighteners?

She straighteners...they are made in the same factory and of the same parts as GHDs but cost 1/3 the price. Do my long, curly hair very well!

Don't waste your money on anything else!

http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews86798鈥?/a>Which are the best hair straighteners?
GHD ( Good Hair Day ) !!!!

They are one of the most expensive out there ( i bought mine for 拢120 ) but there worth it !!

Theres different types for different hair lengths/thickness etc but i use the original ones which work fine for my hair.

I don't think that you can buy them from shops though. Only from salons or you can order them at www.ghdhair.com

Hope this helped :)Which are the best hair straighteners?
GHD are the best
Chi and Paul Mitchell, they both cost over 100$ but are totally worth it!!!!
GHD
GHD's no others. Go for the best
from years of experience, ghd are by far the best. try not to use them more than a couple of times a week if u can help it, as they dry your hair out badly.
the ones they sale at the salon.
Its got to be Ghd hair straighteners,

Ive had alot of problems with hair straighteners as they don't do the job. But be careful with them i am on my 4th set (and they ain't cheap to buy) reason being, my first set just stopped working, 2nd set the same thing happened and my 3rd set blew up! Sparks were flying everywhere 4th set seems to be ok, this happened to a few of my friends and the only reason i have bought them again is because they are the only straighteners that work on my hair. if you do decide to buy them make sure you send away the guarantee and follow the care instructions.

Hope this helps xXx
GHD would be the best!
Ghd's are the best!! I have had so many straighteners and GHD is certainly the best by a long shot!
GHD
Solia is supposed to be awesome, and its not too expensive- about $88. The reviews are really good.
I have more than one straightener. You can go to Sally Beauty Supply, Walmart, and Sephora. Sally Beauty Supply has the best variety and they specialize in hair. Get one of their straighteners because I got one from there and I still use that straightener the most. Make sure to get some products, so your hair doesn't get frizzy or dry. Ask them about what you should use.
CHI CHI CHI!
non in my opinion. blow drying is the best
get a ceramic one, they might be a little more expensive but they dont damage ur hair as much, also they work better and faster. go to a salon they usually sell the professional ones they use.
by far ghds i have used loads of diffrenet straighteners n nufin even cums close 2 ghds because ghds have a chip fing in um dat keeps um the same temperature all the time wer as other straighteners dey loose a few decrees on heat when dey touch your hair hope dis helped
i recently bought a chi. they are very expensive but very worth it. however, i bought one off ebay which slashed the price in half! it was only $75. its totally worth it if you cant stand your wavy/curly hair like me! it feels like silk when you straighten your hair. absolutely wonderful!
CHI
GHD's i know everyone says it but they are fantastic, i dont know what i would do without mine. I have really thick slightly curly red hair and they are the only thing thats ever made it straight. Fantastic honestly
Hey!! Everyone on here seems too think that GHD straighteners are the best..but studys show they arent as good as they are made out too be!! your better off going for ionic straighteners.. because unlike ceramic plates they have a protective layer too stop your hair getting burnt! trust me there amazing!.. i got mine at christmas and my hair is still as shiny as when i first started using hair straighteners!
I was at this convention one time and they had this straightner that was called ';the Ma'; I thought It was just another rip off straightner thing but the guy tried it on my friend who has the curliest hair. And her hair was perfectly straight afterward. Then he tried it on mine which is so straight and wont take a curl so he curled it on mine and the curl stayed for a long time. I don't know if you can buy it in stores I think you just have to contact the company. But it seemed like a pretty good straigtener to me.
i got my hair straightener from a salon

its called ';BABYLISS PRO';

works amazingly!
Everyone says CHI are the best they are around 100-300$ DO NOT buy a Ghd they have documentaries on how they have blown up in peoples hands and in there rooms even when unplugged!! Maybe it was just a bad batch.. i would say for cheap ones it would be a 60 dollar one from a salon or andis 1'; or 2'; straightener at walmart.Or vidal sassoon
GHD

They are one of the most expensive, but they are the only ones i can get to work on my thick hair and they are kinder to your hair than some of the others on the market.
I have very naturally curly hair so about 6 years ago i got some Nicky Clarkes , they were **** , so i bought some GHDs ,I ve had them for 6 years and they are a life saver xx
The best straightner is the Sedu! The Sedu isn't really known in the US becuase it was made in Europe but it is really good!!! It dosen't snag ';pull'; your hair and leaves long lasting results, so you won't have to straighten your hair every day. It leaves hair smooth and cuts your straightening time in half and this flat iron works for all types of hair, thick, fragile etc. It costs around 100 dollars to 130 depending on the plate size and where you get it. This one is sold in salons and at www.folica.com in this site you can also read reviews and why people prefer it then the GHD which has been known for blowing up and the Chi becuase it burns and leaves your hair feeling dry.

Which is the Best hair straightener for this hair type . . ?

ok, so i have this huge problem with trying to find a good hair straightener, alike alot of the Askers on this site.

i have a mixed hair type which is really hard to explain,

i am a 1/4 black and my hair type is pretty weird, frizzy, thick, curly, long.

i have tried the GHD's which i think is the american equivalent to SEDU. But i really need a pair that'll stop my hair going back to normal in a couple of hours, and trust me, i use all the heat protection and smoothing balms that there is.

But so far, no luck.

I don't mind buying from abroad or anything, so any good answers will REALLY help.

thanx peepsWhich is the Best hair straightener for this hair type . . ?
I have a Cortex Straightener, its amazing, it straightens anything (really) my friend at camp had your hair type and she used mine and fell in love with it

another option is to use a CHI straightener, which in my mind is the best thing out there.

OR a Global Beauty one which my salon uses...

soo, you pretty much have a wide variety of really awesome ones ;)

good luck hun! :) Which is the Best hair straightener for this hair type . . ?
well i got my hair cut like a week ago and i got layers and it straighten she used a Japanese flat iron they are a little expensive but they make ur hair look healthy and shiny,ur hair stays flat and frizz free for more than 3 days and i was suprised that when i went to bed and woke up in the morning it wasn't frizzy or curly at all!
i got a really good straigntener, it was from con air, http://www.amazon.com/Silver-Tourmaline-鈥?/a>

or if you have a target in your area, that's wear they sell them :)

or if you don't have a budget, go with the chi, which is like 130 $
try the chi silk infusion. i think it will help with the frizziness, its also a heat protectant

http://www.folica.com/CHI_Silk_Infusi_d2鈥?/a>

I use this Conair one and I love it...

It's the wet-to-straight, and a very good price. (:

Which is the best hair straightener for....?

Hi! I have straight hair, but it sort of curls at the end. So I got layers (really BAD MOVE, if you have my kind of hair, DO NOT, i repeat DO NOT get layers), and now my hair looks wavy. Since I didn't need a straightener before, now I'm looking to buy a really good one, since it'll take me a couple of years to grow out my layers.

Anyways, so what straightener is good? I want one that doesn't damage your hair a lot. I don't want to spend too much, so please recommend with price in mind. (The most I wanna spend is $30)

I know that is asking a lot, but I can't spend too much, and I really don't want to damage my hair.

ps. I will buy Hair Protectant Spray!

Thankss so muchh!!Which is the best hair straightener for....?
i heard CHI works very well..

although i've never tried it XDWhich is the best hair straightener for....?
I have a Chi. It worked a lot better for me than a couple of other cheaper ones, but my ends still flip/curl at the end sometimes.

I don't like it, but you just gotta live with it sometimes. :/

If the most you wanna spend is 30 $, you don't need a straightener. You need straighening cream, and then you can blow dry your hair straight after putting in the cream.

Also, the price of the straightener has nothing to do with the damage to your hair. Ahaha.

Which is the best hair straightener and curler?

Okay my hair is long, and pretty thin.

I need to buy a straightener and curling iron, because my sister is going away to school and taking them with her.

I want something inexpensive (Less than 45 bucks each) but good quality.

I am thinking this conair curler? http://www.conair-store.com/product_deta鈥?/a>

And this Conair straightener? http://www.conair-store.com/product_deta鈥?/a>

Is Conair a good, trusted brand?

And which is the best size to get loose, natural-looking curls?

Thank you !:)Which is the best hair straightener and curler?
Personally, I hate conair. I've used one of their flat irons and it burned my hair and never got it straight even though I have loose waves!! Also, the dial doesn't tell you what temperature the settings are, so you have to get used to it on your own. You're better off getting a good 1 inch straightener that you can curl your hair with. I like sally's gvp its usually on sale for $60 so its cheaper than a flat iron and curler combined. I really like it. There are other brands you can try for good straighteners, like sedu, chi, and I heard revlon has a good one. Just make sure what you choose is ceramic and has multiple heat settings so you don't fry your hair =).Which is the best hair straightener and curler?
If you get a thin 1-inch straightener, you could also use it to curl your hair.

Watch this:

But if you get a curling iron you might want a small one.

Maybe 1/2 inch.

So it look something like this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nha8BOx_i鈥?/a>

%26amp; also remeber to use a heat protectant.

CHI Silk Infusion is good.

If you want something more affordable try Tresemme Heat Tamer Spray from Tresemme's Thermal Creation line.
Best curling iron: Hot Tools (You can get it for around 30 something dollars)

Best straightener: CHI or Solia (You can get it at folica.com. They sell it for cheap)

The best size is 1.5 inch.
not sure about curler, but the revlon wet-to-straight flat iron is the BESTTTT. ive been using it for years. wont use anything else :)
remington, if you get a one inch straightener you can use it as a curler and it works really good
Conair is pretty good but I have revlon and i love it!

they are all from target because i dont want to spend more than $30 - $40 on a straightener and i want it to be the thin kind that gets my curly hair crazy straight and fluffy :) ... so which is the best? [there are a lot of conairs because i heard it is a good brand... ]

i just want a thin, cheap straightener that gets my hair nice and naturally-straight-looking :)Which is the best hair straightener? [links included]?
totally agree with [[alli%26lt;3... she is totally right. Cheaper brands r terrible. I like the amika pro styler but it is expensive $200 but i got a $50 deal. :) ALSO, the cortex ($40) is AMAZING TOO! but i like the amika better cuz it actually leaves ur hair moisturized and beautiful and relly healthy looking. its scientifically designed too.

The conair infiniti nano one is pretty good. :)

i hvn't checked ur list sorry!Which is the best hair straightener? [links included]?
the forth one. fer sure.
4th one. cheapo's don't last long at allll. if you want your hair straight, you need to fork up some cash for it.

  • Which is the best hair straightener brand for my type of hair which is.....?

......Well, I'm half Asian half African. So my hair goes up into a big afro, which makes it hard to do every morning. So I was planning on getting a hair straightener that would actually straighten my hair and bring it down and not just leave it up into a big pouff! :D

So I was wondering if anybody knows a good hair straightener brand that would help me solve my hair problems.

And what store could I get it at. I live in Toronto, Canada, so we might not have the same stores as they do in other countries. (just saying incase someone replies from accross the world :D ) teehee

Thank you, This would really help save my life!.........(literally)Which is the best hair straightener brand for my type of hair which is.....?
I love my solia straightener that I got on folia.com

It has a temperature gauge heats up quickly. My hair feels so smooth after. Also compared side to side with overpriced chi straighteners I prefer this one.Which is the best hair straightener brand for my type of hair which is.....?
i have similar hair, i use a chi and it really does a good job, i think you can get it online :D
im mixed too but with african and white. my sisters hair does the same thing. maybe you should try chi or find another like it that is cheaper.
    Wet to Dry from Wal-Mart.

Which is the best hair straightener brand? where to buy?

CERTAINLY GHD ,, they are the bes

GHD is best, click here to get details on where to buy and more details on GHD and buying sraightener:

http://beautify-flr.blogspot.com/2008/11鈥?/a>Which is the best hair straightener brand? where to buy?
Definitely GHD - I've got really coarse curly hair and they transform it! I bought mine from ebay but you have to be EXTREMELY careful to get a real one and not a fake. I was lucky this time but a friend of mine got duped. They are definitely worth the investment even if you buy direct from GHD. I bought my daughters that way and don't regret a penny of what they cost.

Depending on your hair length I fully recommend the wide salon size. A good straightening protection spray is Trevor Sorbie Straightening Addict which you can get at Boots. It also comes in a small trial/travel size so it's good to try it out first. I wish more products did that!Which is the best hair straightener brand? where to buy?
I would defiantly recommend GHD. I've owned mine for 4 years. My hair is naturally quite frizzy and with these I don't need to straighten my hair every day. It doesn't take long to straighten your hair either.

I brought mine at my local hair salon for 拢130 (pricey but so worth it) but you can also buy online at www.ghdhair.com
GHD, on their website or on ebay or something. Or in many hair salons. I however use Remington, which in my opinion work just as well. GHD's cost around 拢100. And my remingtons cost me 拢20. Just make sure they are ceramic, heat upto around 200C and heat up quick :)x
Mine is panasonic and it works really well

you can try braun to, they're professional, but it depends on your hair, if its really curly you'll need proffesional but if its wavy you should stick with panasonic...
GHD hav e always been seen as the best but others have now caught them up - you want ones that get to 260 degrees - decide on whether you want thick or thin plates. I have morphy richards and love them
    My sister swears by some sort of ceramic babyliss pro model something or other %26lt;insert number here%26gt;

Heats up in 2 seconds apparently.
GHD's are great although they are fairly expencive.

If you are looking for something cheaper then I would go for Babyliss.. they aren't so expencive but still really effective :)
In my opinion, GHD's are the best straightners i've ever used. You can buy them from any good salon, make sure you remember to use good heat deffense as they get really hot. x
    remington.Electronics shops or internet
    remington
    Braun iz best
ghd ive had mine for years touch wood
Ghd, sold at most pricey hair salons. Or online.
